Discover Delhi/Drive to Agra

his great mosque of Old Delhi is the largest in India, with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. It was begun in 1644 and ended up being the final architectural extravagance of Shah Jahan, the Mughal emperor who built the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort.
The highly decorative mosque has three great gates, four towers and two 40 m-high minarets constructed of strips of red sandstone and
white marble. Travellers can hire robes at the northern gate. This may be the only time you get to dress like a local without feeling like an outsider so make the most of it.

Day in Agra to -

The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in its entirety in 1653 at a cost estimated at the time to be around 32 million Indian rupees, which in 2015 would be valued at around 52.8 billion Indian rupees ($827 million US). The construction project employed around 20,000 artisans under the guidance of a board of architects led by Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. The domed marble tomb is part of an integrated complex consisting of gardens and two red-sandstone buildings surrounded by a crenellated wall on three sides.

Agra to jaipur

After breakfast, drive to jaipur - the pink hued capital city of Rajasthan. This city of erstwhile Rajput Maharajas, is built in 9 rectangular sectors symbolising 9 divisions of the universe, as per Indian cosmology. En route to jaipur, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the capital city of the Mughal Empire in the 16th century.

Upon arrival in jaipur, Check in at your hotel.Later explore the many facets of jaipuri crafts such as semi precious jewels, pottery, colourful embroidered fabrics with mirror work, woven carpets etc - watch artisans at work and enjoy souvenir shopping.

Today, explore the princely city of jaipur, jaipur, starting with a morning excursion to Amber fort, which was built in the 16th century. An elephant ride (Subject to availability) will help ascend to this hilltop fort, alternatively, you may also choose to climb or drive up to the fort,

This afternoon visit City Palace, the architectural masterpiece of jaipur, and the ancient astronomical obeservatory, jantar Mantar. Also take a photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built in the 18th century.
