Trips For India
Deposit Payment Policy
We offer you a variety of payment options for your convenience – Cash, Credit
Card, Debit Card, Cheque, Demand Draft
Credit Card Payments:
We Swipe Credit Card. Your credit card number is not revealed to anyone and WILL
NOT be debited until the goods are shipped to you (i.e. Hotel rooms are
confirmed, Travel Documents dispatched, etc). Remittances for Payment may also
be made by Cheque or Demand Draft. Whilst making payments through cheques or
Drafts all deposits must be made payable to“Patna Sahib Tourist Corporation.”

The deposit amount will be notified to you upon receipt of your booking request.
Documents will be faxed and dispatched by courier to you immediately on receipt
of deposit, to the address as mentioned in your form.
Cancellation policy will be in accordance with the policies of the individual
hotels and tours. To cancel, please send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
quoting your booking confirmation no. / order id. Upon receipt of this mail and
verification against email address / telephonic verification the advance will be
refunded via cheque / credit reversal after adjustment of the retention charge
(if applicable) as per hotel policy.
In case if the booking amount was paid using credit card an additional
processing fee of 5% would be deducted.
Rules for Package Tours are as indicated on individual Tours. In most cases the
earnest amount deposited is non-returnable.
Minimum charges will be deducted from advance in case cancellations are not made
in time as indicated.
Retention Charges are equal to one night’s room charge for hotel rooms.
On timely cancellation of guaranteed bookings any advance amount deposited with
Trips For India shall be refunded after deduction of retention charge as per the
Return of Advance Amount in case of Cancellation
In case you have already paid the advance, send us an explanatory mail at
email@example.com with subject as “CANCELLATIONS” and attach the relevant
Hotel / Package Tours Reservation Request Form to your message.
In case request for cancellation is received before we ship the goods (i.e.
Hotel vouchers sent, Travel Documents dispatched, etc), then credit card will
not be debited and you will not be billed. Cheques and DDs received by us (and
if not deposited in the bank by us) will be returned by registered mail or
In all other cases amount, as applicable, will be returned by cheque payable to
traveller and dispatched by courier to the contact address as given in the
reservation request form.
In case of foreigners who have made payment from outside India, have been billed
in dollars and their cards have been debited, we will be informing the Payment
Gateway who will in turn get in touch with your issuing bank to reverse the
debited amount to your bill.

The Users availing services from Trips For India shall be deemed to have read,
understood and expressly accepted the terms and conditions of this agreement,
which shall govern the desired transaction or provision of such services by
Trips For India for all purposes, and shall be binding on the User. All rights
and liabilities of the User and/or Trips For India with respect to any services
to be provided by Trips For India shall be restricted to the scope of this
Trips For India reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the
access to any or all Trips For India websites or its other sales channels and
the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice, for
general maintenance or any reason what so ever.
In addition to this Agreement, there are certain terms of service specific to
the services rendered/ products provided by Trips For India like the air
tickets, MICE, bus, rail, holiday packages etc. Such terms of service will be
provided/ updated by Trips For India which shall be deemed to be a part of this
Agreement and in the event of a conflict between such terms of service and this
Agreement, the terms of this Agreement shall prevail. The User shall be required
to read and accept the relevant terms of service for the service/ product
availed by the User.
Additionally, the Service Provider itself may provide terms and guidelines that
govern particular features, offers or the operating rules and policies
applicable to each Service (for example, flights, hotel reservations, packages,
etc.). The User shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with the terms and
guidelines or operating rules and policies of the Service Provider with whom the
User elects to deal, including terms and conditions set forth in a Service
Providers’ fare rules, contract of carriage or other rules.
In the event that any of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein
conflict with the Additional Terms or other terms and guidelines contained
within any other Trips For India document, then these terms shall control.
Credit Card Payment method
Trips For India allows a secure payment option for all users wanting to pay
through their credit cards. We accept Master and Visa cards only. Your credit
card number is not revealed to anyone and WILL NOT be debited until the goods
are shipped to you (i.e. Hotel rooms are confirmed, Travel Documents are
All credit card payments involve a certain extra charge based on percentage of
amount billed, therefore Trips For India can appropriately advise you to pay
through a mix of credit card for immediate reservation and the balance through a
cheque or demand draft. This will allow us to provide instant confirmation of
your booking request and also minimize the overheads in credit card payments.
